Strut bags

Postby CelicaGT8 » Tue Aug 02, 2011 8:04 pm

Looking to put airbags into the celica gt4000, any idea what the best way to do this is?
I was thinking strut bags, with adjustables... but know nothing about it all...

you wont need adjustables just a strut type bag or cylinder,
what do you intend to do for an on board air system?

For cost effective options you want to adapt Commodore or similar gear, Celica specific stuff will get expensive very quick. Controllers/height adjustment is common across any airbag setup but the bag over strut stuff is harder to mount and less common.

could try to adapt the soarer or crown aftermarket setups?
The GT4 is to Celicas what the GTR is to skylines.

Not sure, was thinking about just putting a tank in the back, plenty of room... no idea about the rest of it.

The cars all about being different though

suppose i could get some kyb's with removable inserts and change the platforms. just liked the idea of adjustables because ther all shiny and look hi-tec lol

Also ther smaller and may alow for bigger wheels
