Is there a decent auto trans specialist in town? if so where?

Also, need to get a chip in my windscreen fixed, best place to go?

Out in broomfield, if anyone wants to catch up at some stage... just let me know

I know a mechanic that will take the dirty auto out and put a manual in for you :P
Smith and Smith I have had good dealings with. Fixed 2 broken wind screens and a passenger window when my old car was broken into. And I see that they do that chip fixy thing...

Id recomend Novus for the screen, ive had numerous bad jobs done from smith and smith, ranging from bad calls in what to repair, the quality of the repair job, leaking after screen replacement, and VERY poor fitment of a glued in screen.

My advice, if you have glass cover on insurance (usually no claim fee on a full cover insurance) id change the chip into a crack so it needs screen replacement, I HATE repairs, and so do most repairers.

Just a mate that's a qualified Mechanic. He rebuilt my old Starion's motor from top to bottom, installed new suspention, new brakes, new gearbox, new clutch and a few other smaller things for $2000 all up including parts and labour.
Did take him 3 weeks and 1 day since he does it in his spare time, but for the price I was willing to wait.

I went to Mitsi for shits and giggles to see how much that would all cost... almost 5 times that
