Automation | A Car Company Tycoon Game

Postby MAC_HATER » Mon Aug 15, 2011 10:29 am

saw this on another forum and thought id share it as it looks awesome!

http://automationgame.com/

"Automation is a car company tycoon game in which you design and build cars from scratch.
It is you who designs everything from the very core that is the engine, over the chassis, to the suspension and the car's looks.
Several games have tried this before... but were able to merely scratch the surface.
Just some of the many features of Automation are:

A flexible car designer
A highly detailed engine designer
Realistic dynamic world markets
Realistic buyer demographics
High technical focus, yet easy to learn!

Go ahead, build your dream-car company, or simply aim to dominate the world markets with your superior design skills! "

it got me thinking of Gearhead garage back in 1999\2000

that was a fun game especially when people made super detailed models of cars ie a BMW 850CI where you had to install each piston and rod individually instead of just Block<Crank<Sump<Head<Done :P

will be interesting to see what else they end up doing before its completed and put on sale whenever that is

they are taking pre orders now - pay them cash monies so they can make game good! :P

We've started preorders to support development

Go to Project: Automation - The Car Company Tycoon Game | RocketHub if you wish to preorder.

Not only to you get the warm fuzzy feeling of supporting us to get Automation done better and faster, you also save $10 off the final price and get access to extra content when the demo comes out
(When we release the demo it will be limited to Inline 4 hatchbacks, but those of you who've preordered will get access to everything as we finish it)

Please spread the word about this to anyone you know who might like it, if this does well Automation could be done a lot quicker and to a higher standard :)

looks like anything over $20 gets you a preorder

the more you spend the more perks you get - $50 gets you some more perks - anything over $75 gets you 4 pre orders to give 3 to friends

$250 or more gets your name in the credits of the game

$1000 or more and you get to dictate a car body style of your choice

$10K or more and you get all of the above, your logo (mugshot?) on the splash screen as well LOL

so lots of options - ill probably chuck $50 their way as i love the look of the game so far and thats about all i can afford :P
