i've had a few dealings with various 2nd hand car dealers in auckland, and in light of this i occasionally get asked to recommend one.

i've never been able to.

I used to work for Genuine Vehicle Imports and I always recommend them to my friends and family.

Still haven't resolved this! ARGH!

Spoke to him last Thursday and he said he was going to get a price on a "cheap one" from another Altezza or something to which i haven't had a reply, called him this arvo and went to answer phone (surprise surprise) and left a pretty hasty message telling him "I'm getting pissed off waiting for you" my words exactly and that i cant do what i want with my sounds until he's sorted this issue. If it comes down to it i may look at getting quotes from car audio places on repair and flash those under his nose and tell him if he doesn't hurry up he can expect me to send him an invoice? If that would work?

Starting to get a real bee under my bonnet, constantly chasing him is becoming a real drag aswell.
