There is your "Tank" for $4500

Thats almost affordable! But a FV 432 has got to be the Toyota Previa of "tanks". I was thinking of something much more unaffordable and impractical.

If I win Lotto, an impractical and large armoured vehicle is definitely on the "list". :D

That T-72 looks good, maybe should scrap the idea of the strikemaster and buy a T-72...

that challenger has no engine or trans can anyone else see a good rotary / 1uz / bagged / lowrider / ratrod / chromez project?

T-72 looks badass. get one of those with rubberised tracks like in that bond movie. take it to the shops etc.

A t-72 is un-pratical they are easly knocked out by any modern NATO tank and they are designed to russian specs..

It is tempting tho. if I can find a M48 or a centurion it would be great!

Bugger, I didn't notice that.
Reckon you will run out of room for rotarys before you had enough power to move it.
Chrome the sprocket/wheels/tracks! It will be bling as! 8)
I guess you could use a big 16L turbo diesel from a truck or something, but the missing trans will probably be a bitch.
