Reckon you'll actually be able to get a full sized adult in the back sitting normally? Or end up sitting like you do in a Supra - sideways

have been considering an e46 m3 for a daily driver for a long time now, but this is seriously compelling..

So just out of curiosity (ok, I'm bored at work) I looked around the yard for something to compare the height to...

Turns out the Peugeot RCZ is factory quoted as 1359mm high, although I imprecisely measured it very close to the FT86's 1285.

I can fit in an RCZ, so providing Toyota package the interior intelligently, driver space shouldn't be a problem.

Comparatively...

RCZ:
Overall width: 2106.6mm
Overall length: 4287.4mm
Track width(front): 1580mm
Track width(rear): 1592.6mm
Wheelbase: 2611.8
Kerb weight: 1394kg
Gross weight: 1726kg
Engine output: 156bhp@6000 & 180lb/ft@1400rpm

So I say everyone rock down to your local Peugeot dealership and test drive an RCZ, then just imagine it in FR layout and you have an FT86 :P

rear seat space looks optimistic to fit a normal size person in there.

nothing wrong with a tight fit when its getting all slippery in the rear! :P

i.e. wouldn't turn down a back seat ride along

Can't say the AE86 was roomy in the rear... So this won't be any worse I reckon
