Burnt in cylinders is definately blue. Oil entering the exhaust from experince has been blue, but I wouldnt be suprised if its more of a white colour depending on how much is being burnt

Oil doesn't burn when it smokes, it gets vapourised and condenses to make smoke.
When oil actually burns, there's no smoke, like a properly running diesel at idle.

If it smells like oil , then it's oil.

If it didn't smoke before you overfilled it and it smokes now, then either you've broken it or you haven't driven it far enough to burn off everything that got into the exhaust past the rings.
A non turbo car will do the same thing when over filled.
