Tyre gurus - Alternative to Yoko S-Drive

Postby diss7 » Sat Dec 17, 2011 4:09 pm

Whats an alternative to Yokohama S-Drive that has a stiff sidewall suitable for 'stretching'

I need them available in 195/45/15 and 195/50/15

The only local tyre shop here that will fit stretched tyres don't deal with Yokohama, and have suggested Pirelli P7's, but idk about the p7's.

Have thought about it, but the chances of it ending in fail are high.

Edit - I would swap the 195/45 out for a 175/50, but it seems every 175/50 is a crap tyre

I have Kumho KU31's in both those sizes and as said above Toyo do them as well in RA1's. The Kumho's seem to have a good rep but no idea on stretching them.
