I am no expert but I am pretty sure its just a vid of two celicas, so yeah they are kinda the same. So which one is the ugly twin?

Nope, one is the FT-86 and the other is the Subaru BRZ - both look very similar to me!

This pic is of the Subaru BRZ.

Still not sure which one you are referring to as the ugly twin in that video. You probably think they look similar because they are both in fact the toyota version. There is no BRZ in that link, only a couple of Celicas.
But thanks for sharing, still fun to watch. :D

Ah, the video said that it was the FT86 and BRZ. Either way they both look the same.

I'm starting to like it more and more, a little out of my budget right now but I suppose in 3 years time there'll be cheap imports available. Looking at that diagram I'm quite surprised it's so close in size to an AE86 but with a longer wheelbase. Glad it's no taller, modern cars these days always feel like you're driving sitting 6 feet in the air.

I'm finding it hard to decide whether I like the GT86 or BRZ styling better (subtle though the differences are). Couldn't find many websites directly comparing the two, so I created this:

Going on that comparison I think I prefer the soobaroo, maybe down to the paint though. And the FT being LHD

Still sure the video is two celicas.

Yes I too thought the Sub looked better. But then I looked again and realized that's more to do with the way the pics are focused etc.

Their 'back to back' testing is 2 different guys at 2 different circuits in 2 different country's. One had a free for all afternoon thrashing the tits off one.
The other had 3 controlled laps around a go kart track. Their pick was the subby. Will be interesting to see a proper side by side comparison.

Hey, at least it sounds like a 3s.
