10 Reasons MKIII Supras are Garbage

Postby leboe » Tue Feb 14, 2012 1:20 pm

Very funny article by my friend Quinn, he posts lots of interesting articles on his blog Speed Hero, usually gets some funny comments from people reading this MK3 Supra bashing rant.

hahahah! - he does make some good points though - burgandy was a nice 70's colour - not late 80's early 90's :P

and yes they are very heavy - mine tips the scales around 1600kg's - im sure im breaking the 2 tonne mark when im carrying a full car with people and gear D:

i still like mine :D

Eh? His MK3 has finally been started - so it's almost ready to get back on the road! It'll be a monster. What did he used to have?

its funny how the x chassis cars are newer yet lighter then a mark III lol.

no wonder why r32s are so popular they have about 400kgs less to carry around

Damn dont have any pics online anymore. My bad!

I think no matter what car, some one can have a biitch/moan about it.

The worst maintenence on a car i have had to do is change the oil filter on a Altezza 2JZGE Gita/Wagon 4WD!

yeah needs to be the grey interior (or blue if you're crazy)

the blue looks better than the red but still a bit ehhhhh

facelift ones also get bigger speaker pods in the doors so you can actually fit good speakers after all these years :D

Not to mention important stuff like extra bracing on the front and rear subframes :P And the higher liklihood of being widebody, and the infinitely nicer looking from bumper and rear tail lights... :P Oh and bigger brakes...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sVwlByo9 ... ata_player

Spun the 295/18's at about 80-100kms when hit boost thought $&#$% it not my fault his mk3 was lame and yes I have the same bumper he mocks

(he does make valid points mines not a full race car just a bit of fun so it's ok for me :)

widebody A70's look pretty kick ass.

I personally have never driven any, but my dad owned a Toyota dealership for 16 years, he said the MKIII drove pretty bad compared to the other sports oriented cars.
you don't see a lot of well done MKIII's around here, people buy them because they say Supra and Turbo on it and then slap terribly fitting wheels... most of the time...

The Mark 3 Turbo A looks mean. Black with Grey leather interior. Limbo is fixing one up right now and even though it is currently a bit rough around the edge, it has a mean as presence about it.

I prefer to think of them as "Manly" rather than heavy :D
