Corolla help please

Postby EviLClouD » Sat Feb 25, 2012 5:07 pm

Hey, so my mate is looking at buying a corolla hatch roughly 2004 or newer.
What i'm wondering is what the difference is between the corolla, allex, runx, auris etc and which you'd recommend out of these, probably performance wise.
I found that 1.8L vvtli is the engine to go for?
Thanks

Yes, go for the 6spd RS180 Runx. My sister has one, its a good, practical wee car with the same power as a type R Integra. Gotta rev it pretty hard to get the most out of it but its damn good fun to fang around in, would own one in a heartbeat!

I've got a 2001 Runx Z, which has the 2ZZGE engine in it (1.8L VVTLi)
Also known as the T-Sport or the RS180 as mention previously.

Difference between the Runx and the Allex, is that the Allex has chrome trim in areas and the Runx has the same colour as the body.

Nice little peppy car! But def needs to be revved.
