I have a guard roller tool you can borrow if you still haven't located one. Just promise you'll do up all the wheel nuts on it tight and don't go too overboard coz it'll easily ruin a car in a matter of a few 'turns'
guard rolling is a no no IMO... Much better looking and better for the car's body to cut the guard lips off carefully. I've done it a few times now and it's actually pretty simple to get right. Just use a new fine hacksaw blade with rag wrapped around one end for a handle (whole hacksaw wont let you control it properly). Use it so you're pulling to cut - important. Sitting on floor with car jacked up and wheel off. Scribe a line around the lip to guide the cut leaving just about 3mm lip, so you'll probably removing about 10mm on most cars. Just go slowly and it'll be a tidy job. File the cut back to remove burrs and give it a quick mask and black paint just to cover the bare steel.
This will be tidier than rolling because it wont ripple the outer guard like rolling usually does and it wont leave a curled up lip ready to hold mud and muck to rust. Plus it wont look like you actually modified anything if you do a tidy job.
