Hey guys looking for some help/info on an issue I'm currently having with my wagon.

It seems to be randomly stalling atm. Cold starts or running for awhile and the issue has happened.

Throttle body was cleaned.
Fuel pump seems to be functioning.
Battery is less than a year old (was testing and seemed fine).
Two diagnostics with no error codes.
Seems prone to happen when decelrating/ at a stop.
Other information is I have had to jump start off it (start someone elses car) a couple of times so potentially fried something?

Any and all help is appreciated to get the thing up and running.

No speedo signal will cause that.

As far as I'm aware, would it cause an error that could be picked up through diagnostics?

Also twice now it has completely turned off while turning at pretty close to full steering lock (normally shuts down during idle).
When the issue happens at idle the car seems to.. splutter?

I dont know if any of this is helping but just throwing out what I've noticed since its started.

Going from that I would say it has an idle speed control problem,
or incorrect base idle speed setting.

My Caldina GT had this very problem.

It was and obscure but easy fix. There is a part of the loom that goes from the alternator (or there abouts) over the cam covers under a the plastic molding that covers the top of the cam gears. (this is on a BEAMS 3S-GE so not sure if it is the same, should be similar though)

In any case, the heat from the cam covers had perished the insulation on one of the wires and randomly it was grounding on the top of the cam covers stalling the car.

How this applies to a GTE I am unsure but worth checking cos its a 5 min fix.
