Has anyone fitted a Perfectpower SMT8 or a map 3 unit? Just curious to see what the results were like.
I know I should go to a stand-alone ecu, but I don't need 400kw, just a bit of fuel and boost tuning ( 3sgte).
Piggyback ecu?

I'd spend a little extra and get a Link G4 Atom or even a 2nd hand Link G3/similar. I liked my MAPECU2 in my MR2 but it never gave the drivability/economy that a proper standalone could have. Was alright on WOT but nowhere else - the stock ECU fought it all the way.

I am also interested if anyone has used a MAP ECU 2/3. I have one for my 2jz Na-T project and have just been looking at how to install it. Anyone used one, or knows how hard it is to install one?
