Yea sure, don't you mean when you are ready to sell one

If the BRZ is Dec, when is the GT86 going to be here, I had my name down for one of the first well over a year ago when I was told they would be here late last year.. then I was told February this year, then mid this year.

I have spent the money elsewhere now but I am still keen to drive one, if its mind blowing I could consider one. My local dealer, Papakura Toyota have no
idea either.

One car I didnt mention that is compelling at around 60k is the BMW 125i M sport, these go very well, are RWD and can be ordered in Manual. Just putting it out there as another option for you Snaps, I know you like RWD and this is a lot of small BMW for the money... just needs a LSD though!

The regular 2003 6spd RX8s you see around the place, almost picked one up for 8.5k at one point with between 50,000-60,000kms but let it go after seeing the reviews from owners :? They come up on TradeMe quite often around the 9-9.5k mark and sometimes in the 8k range also

Lloyd sold a Spec S about 3 weeks ago for around 10k. Had a bit over 100k on it from memory.

That was a good watch, still reckon it's ugly... Maybe it's just because Japanese vehicle manufacturers never really got the wheel thing down  Show me some Meister S1 3pc on that please, then I'll come to my decision 8)

Don’t you mean “I think those BMW’s are ugly”.

You may think your missus is a babe where others may think she looks like a dog, beauty is in the eye of the beholder 8)

I do have to admit the first time I spotted one I thought it had down syndrome. They do look quite squat from the back though and they do have a 2.0 Turbo that can with a $1,000 remap give 200kw and 400nm meaning it will do the quarter a couple of seconds faster than a FT86.

Yeah, but that was a $1 reserve that went for quite a lot less than the asking price that it had been advertised at for a while (it had been on my watch list for ages).

I've never seen one go for under $10k, and they seem to be advertised at more like the $14k mark, than the $8k mark (for the one with the good engine).

I got a Pulsar Gti for $100 once. That doesn't mean that's what they go for ...

I get it now... just, it's ugly. That concept looks better, but come on.

The concepts interior was indeed cool, minimalistic without looking budget.

Happens with all anticipated new vehicle launches in Japan. People get their names on the waiting lists or buy from countryside dealerships and bring into the big cities where initial demand exceeds initial supply and they can therefore sell for a profit.
