Does anyone here know how to rebuild Bilsteins?
Is it the sort of thing you can do yourself?
I have experience rebuilding RC car shocks and mountain bike shocks, but Im assuming car shocks are quite different?
Can anyone give me a rough price on a rebuild?

dont think its a diy kind of thing like pulling apart old shocks and pouring some gear oil on

Any idea on cost?
1 of my factory subaru front ones has a slight leak and weeping ever so slightly.
I assume I need to get both fronts done rather then just 1 side?

Ah Subaru ones? Costs a bit as they had to modify them as they develop a wobble in them. Around $300ish each it used to be
Need to install a new top to the body to support the shaft

If one is going, chances are the other one will be in similar condition. You wouldn't really want one rebuilt shock and one well worn shock paired up either.
