Dip that size Allen key into abit of oil then sand/dirt jam it in there and give it a try. Yeah I know sounds so odd but works suprisingly well.

Looks like you will have to drop the shock out any way because the screws are slightly under the strut top. If so, is the screw long enough to grip underneath?

Heat bolt with propane touch and fix it. It is very easy. Take no time, take more time for me to write this.

we trust australian male at work with tool. If he cant use torch maybe he need to 'man up' (correct saying??) and get hand dirty.

Reversible battery drill with impact mode and right size allen key tip works pretty well. The more torque settings on the battery drill the better as you can add more torque as you need it.

Torch/heating will do next to nothing to the bolt compared to what it will do to the bearing & its lube. I doubt that it got F'd because the threads have a rust corrosion problem
Also, left hand drill bit.
Also, also, penetrating oil on the threads from the underside, forget it if it's a blind hole. Lubricant helps even though there isn't a rust/corrosion cause.

The setup is just so old, I hardly ever drive the car (weekend drive, I have my YZF as daily), and leaving it outside just caused it to seize.

I think the whole top hat is actually alloy so I don't know if heating it will be a good idea, althought there's quite a bit of meat.

Get a flathead screw driver that is just wider than corner to corner of the hex hole, bash it in with a hammer.
