Are Japanese cars soul-less?

Speaking of shoddily built cars, I was in VTNZ the other day and a guy (with a Weta W/S jacket on) was complying a Delorean. Whether it's part of a movie set or for personal use I don't know.
An ugly piece of shit, but it had soul.

Clarkson's a dick, but he's dead right here. Japanese cars have no soul and never have.
You might add a little of your own personality in your modifications and you might think of it as 'soul' ... but it's not.

The 240Z is probably the only car the Japs ever built with a hint of personality.

Even if what he says is true, and I am not saying it is, it isnt a problem, it is an oppitunity to add some soul to a car by modifying it.

I think of my soarer, before I started working on it, it was just a car, but now it has developed a soul.... sure, the soul is evil, vindictive and appears to live off my blood and tears... but it is a soul none the less.

In fact, I think once the soarer is done, I will add some soul to a 147 Aristo.
