Last two wofs have been by the same guy, fist wof he didnt bat an eye lid at the E-brake light staying on and the back calipers only gripping on one pad each, then failed the next time.

Fix the problems before WOF time? Sorted.

Sort of understand though. I got failed on tiny screw in tyre tread. Went to swap wheel on so I could get it looked at. Found spare wasn't even bolted in :lol:

But yeah, if you don't have problems you can't be failed. That is pretty consistent :wink:

Try Kevin at North City Motors Tawa or Dean at Midas Porirua. Both of these guys are great and I have used for them for at least 9 years without a problem!!!

Good honest reliable mechanics.

My problem is I live in Upper Hutt now - but, luckily I work a couple of minutes away from Dean at Midas, so can still use him :D

nb: Dean at Midas just takes it to VTNZ P'town anyway ... unless things have changed very recently.

Good point Leon,forgot to mention that point.

Still does, that's why I like it - its independent and he can generally repair anything minor on the spot if I fail for whatever reason. :oops:
