Hi guys,
I purchased a side mirror with the intention of travelling to Wellington to replace the broken one on my sisters car. However her husband noticed too late that he required the 5-wire (retracting) mirror, whereas I'd just purchased a 3-wire (non-retracting) mirror. The parts shop I purchased it from here in Chch are whiny retards and don't really know/care about the CGA, so I may be stuck with it.
So, I have been told that the retraction motor may fit into the non-retracting casing. The broken part is the stalk that the casing mounts too, surely if the 3 attach screws for the casing to the mount (that go through into the retract motor) are the same hole pattern, I could just swap the mount over and use the retraction casing on my mount if need be?
Bit of a curly one, but if anyone had any experience with this and could shed some light, I'd be super appreciative.
Cheers.
