RS180 parts

Postby RS13 » Sun Jul 15, 2012 8:56 pm

Hi guys,

My sister lives in Wellington and had her drivers side mirror smashed by some lovely individual who saw fit to drive off and not leave a note. She has a 2001 RunX Z (RS180) and is after the replacement parts, whereabouts around Wellington would be the best (cheapest?) place/wrecker to go to get one of these?

Many thanks in advance,

James.

There is a toyota wrecker out in alicetown (petone) but the guy has very poor business ethics/manners etc.

He will quote you a price on the phone, then increase it once you are standing at the till.

Try Taranaki Parts World - worth getting it sent in from out of town just for the ease of dealing with useful people.

Mr Ree spot on about Head Auto - absolutely wankers to deal with in my opinion.

Bought a bonnet from there once, felt like picking up said bonnet and smacking him up side the face with it.

The two guys that run the place are brothers from Wainui.

We dont use them anymore, too steep with their pricing. Just like 'Strong for honda'...rouge $&#$%.

Wow, I see I am not the only one who found them abrasive. Ive been there 3 times and every time ive been pissed at his attitude, its like he actually enjoys being unpleasant. Ive always thought I was a c**t, then I met him!

Seriously, some guys just have no idea how to run a business, and shouldnt try.

they had a headlight on a vitz I wanted out the front and I asked if he could take it out so I could have it, he said "Nah don't have time today" and told me if I had my own tools I could take it out myself. Still wanted some exorbitant amount for it as well.
