STM open (on request) on Sundays for dyno days. Hub dyno though so takes forever to set up/remove a car.

Can pretty much count me in for a day. Not often I have longer than that free.

Hey Scott,

Could I recommend finding numbers and making accommodation top of your to do list as this takes a lot of time. I'll also suggest you find somewhere with secure parking as like me, most people will want to know their car is safe during scavenger hunts etc while people all pack into cars as teams. If you need any help give me a call or text, I'm happy to help out if needed.

Not overly narrow but does get narrow in places and not the smoothest either. Other option perhaps all the way round the bays? Makara?

Dyno: $50 2wd
$80 4wd
$15 air & fuel ratios
Minimum 8 cars
No print outs but will email or save to a USB

I'm not a proper local yet so dont know many of the good driving roads so open to suggestion

$50 is a fair price, mate. Im sure you will get enough takers.

As suggested, one of the best drives in the 04 is...starting from Owhiro bay and continuing around the south coast past Island Bay, Lyall Bay, then through Worser Bay, Seatoun, Breaker Bay, Scorching Bay, Shelley Bay and the rest of the Miramar peninsula, around Evans bay, along the quays, onto motorway, turn off at Petone and then head to the end of Eastbourne.

It is a pretty long drive, but its awesome, and one of the longest non stop coastal drives in the world.

The Akatarawas are a good drive! Took it by mistake in work wagon (well GPS said it would be a good idea).

Umm, not really. Probably one of the roads where you really want to slow down and drive safely. I've driven through there in the work wagon. There is no way in Hell I'd consider spirited driving through there.

Aka's and Moonshine are good at night when you can use oncoming headlights to warn you that a car is coming the other way.

The rest of the time both those roads are hellacious narrow.

Paekakariki Hill Road, Whiteman's Valley loop, Makara are all safer for a daytime drive. Around the Bays and Makara have both had their speed limits reduced though.
