Harrier

Postby mtrntr » Sun Aug 26, 2012 8:50 pm

Looking at buying a Harrier, most likely the 2wd 3.0 litre earlier models. I have been told the 4wd model is trouble.

Anyone else have any experience with them or advice?

the MZ family of V6 motors certainly aren't the greatest thing to come off the toyota production line... they have a drinking problem, an oil drinking problem

Door locking motors like packing up, they are the only thing that we get asked for for them.

Hard to make aftermarket stereos fit, the factory one is integrated with the heater controls.

Thanks for the tips. Not sure how to check how much oil it is using other than the visual smoke check.
