Clutch / brake bleeders

Changed my clutch master cylinder on the MR2

I pump that clutch pedal like a high school kid on his prom night until all my limbs falls off, no pressure at all.

Looking for a vacuum / pressure bleeder, around $100-ish, need it tomorrow, any suggestions guys?

Powerbuilt do one thats around that price, have a looksee if any local parts places carry it. Feel your pain, I did much the same with my one til I bought a vacuum bleeder

Pressurise it from the front end and blow the fluid through. Could help if you remove the line to the slave in the engine compartment as well. Once you've got fluid to there, you should be right to use the pedal to pump the fluid through.

The place that I went to don't sell powerbuilt pressure+vacuum bleeder anymore, so I had to settle for just a plain vacuum bleeder.

Chucked the thing on, 15 sec later, BAM there's clutch pressure, should've bought it in the first place.

Generally you will have this problem if you fit it dry. Always pays to bleed new or rebuilt mast cyls on the bench so you have solid pressure out the ports prior to fitting.

I didn't want to undo the nut flared nut to the master cylinder again, it's pretty rooted from a few installations.

The clutch probably has about 75% feel to it now, better than before, where it would "release" itself after holding the clutch in for more than 2 seconds.

Reverse bleeding works a treat too.

This setup that I bought is vacuum only unfortunately, they don't make the poewrbuilt one anymore.

Palm of your hand on top of the reservoir will usually push fluid into the cyl. through any assembly lube/smegma.
