Oil change in civic

Postby jbod » Wed Oct 10, 2012 10:42 pm

Im going to change the oil in my partners 2000 honda civic, its quite a late model for an ek shape. Think its a 1500 or 1600 single cam efi. Was thinking just castrol magnatec 5-30. Does this sound on the money? Seems a safe bet, dont have a workshop manual to confirm specific viscosity of recomended oil

It should be written on the oil cap, or a sticker under the hood.
