Postby Vertigo » Mon Nov 05, 2012 7:25 am

So I'm having a bitch of a time trying to fit the o-ring on the water pump if my 4agze. it seems just a bit too small, but its the correct part, I'm sure. any advice?

Where did you get it from? Never come across one that I'd call a tight fit

When i did my starlets water pump it came with a smaller o ring which i had to use on the metal pipe which goes into the rear of the pump and i used gasket goo for the block seal

Maybe your engines the same?

I had the same problem a while back, think it was on my old SW20. Work your way around the o ring slightly stretching it between your fingers. Did the trick for me.
