Lifting the bonnet is another way of allowing air out but the heat-soak you are getting with the top mount is still going to happen when stationary. The best thing you can do is go for a water to air set up from an ST205, lag the charge cooler by adding a reflective insulation to the bottom of it (helps with the heat soak of the cooler) and have the pump run constantly which when fitting to the ST185 is the easiest installation method anyway.

What kind of work do we need to get setup?
At the moment I have put a TMIC Fan and had my window water sprayer on top of my fan so that water gets pushed around my fan on to the intercooler to cool the IC down when it's at the lights.
I still get bad heatsoak so I think I might get rid of the cat converter and put another radiator fan on the car as it seems to only come on when the car goes in the middle of the dial...
