Rav 4 3SFE

We've got a buggered 3SFE in a Rav 4, well and truely past the point of saving.

Is anyone aware of any other chassis that featured the same 3SFE, Corona, Camry etc? We're just having a hard time finding a decent 3SFE to replace this one.

Late eighties Celica ST162, Corona ST170 etc.
Earlier Camry's and Celica/Corona etc are mostly fitted with carbs.

Later Celicas (90-) were mostly fitted with 5S-FE motors as were Camry's from that time on.
The 5S (2200cc) is a cheap upgrade on your motor and a direct swap as were the later (91-) Corona's fitted with the 4S (1800cc) motor.

Later Camry's (95-) were fitted with balancer shafts, wilder cams, more compression, better pistons & chambers, improved ignition, exhaust, inlets etc and are a much better option, they are cheap and plentiful at PickApart etc.

Take note how your transfer box bolts to the back of the block, most of these listed won't have the transfer mounts and for that you may need a 3S-GTE block?
3S-GTE would be a fun swap for your RAV but expensive and time consuming

same year range is preferable 94+ sounds like the go
ST20X

the transfer case is with the gearbox, some grinding from the block might be necessary to fit the gearbox though
