Kinda embarassed to ask but is there a way of finding out what cars are registered in your name? I remember seeing something like this when I did something on the NZTA transaction center that brought up a list after I entered my drivers licence number but can't remember what i was doing...

You can check individual rego numbers if you have motocheck.
You need to enter certain info and it will confirm if it's correct
Or wait until the local cops are in maccas and sneak into the patrol car. Make sure a mate tapes it in case it turns funny
By funny I mean they catch you and pepper spray you
As above, do the opt-out thing on NZTA website with the one rego that you DO know and it'll ask if you want to apply it to the other vehicles registered to you, and it lists them.
Pretty much as many as I thought I did. One or two I had forgotten about but in general people I've sold/given cars to changed ownership which is good.

It's not that I'm avoiding the question. I just that I think at this stage there are some more pressing issues that need our attention. The real question here is how many is too many?
Your taxes are going up 25%. Shortly after minimum wage goes up 25%. Totally unrelated though.

Too many is when you have to store some on other properties than your own. Three is too many for me. One garage space, and only really need one daily. But shit happens. Currently only have room for 2 due to DIY landscaping that is taking way too long.
As for tax, ah well that will balance out for me then

lol I've owned three in twelve years of driving - one for six weeks (Mitsi with BHG, go figure lol), the Curren for about seven years, and the Caldina for three, which I drove for one.
