Aftermarket Indicator flasher units - Non load dependant

Hey,

Was just wondering if anyone had previously used an aftermarket indicator flasher unit, perhaps for using LEDs or something instead of normal bulbs.

Any suggestions? pros/cons/etc?

I put one of these flasher units into my soarer

The positive and the negative were the wrong way around, so I had to bend down the middle pin and solder on an extention to make it work.

Certainly fixes the hyper flash issues with the indicator, but wont sort out your Blown bulb warning light on your dash board.

Also, it can be a bit of a trick getting an LED that is right for your car and it can be some trial and error before you can find on that is right for you particular reflector.

What are car they going in? Are you going to do that brake lights too?

You can buy them from twl its a hella unit. works really well used it for led rain light on racecar.. don't ask for part number. haha
