Hey all
I'm after a female M16 with 1.5mm thread pitched to a hose barb - and wondering if there's a relation between the AN style fittings to the metric M16 sizes?
i.e. is am M16 the same as a -16AN?

Found on a website:
A #7 AN fitting is a 7/16"
A #9 AN is 9/16"
A #10AN is 10/16" or 5/8" if you reduce it.
THe -AN # is a part of a fraction in which the second # is always 16.
So that's interesting - something I didn't know. Problem being is 16mm is half way between 5/8ths (10/16ths - or -10AN) and 41/64ths.....
Wonder if -10AN will work....what's 0.2mm between friends? haha

You would have found this
Down here in Wellington there is W.R. Twigg that sells all manor of fittings, like a M16x1.5 Barb.

The hose sizes could probably fit, but where do you get metric hose from?
16mm will be slightly looser than #10AN (by about 0.2 mm). Anyway there is either choice between 15mm or 16mm in metric sizes.
