Radiator issues... again

Hey all, got home last night in the Alto and seems the radiator is bust another leak. Got a new thermostat and radiator hoses coming, thought I might as well replace them
With regards to the radiator I obviously have a few options, source a second hand radiator, however probably will have the same issue. Source a new one, get it recored, get something aftermarket and fit it.

What's going to be the best option? I use the car to do long trips to Dunedin, Westcoast etc quite regularly, so I'm wondering whether the 1 odd cm thick core is up to the task?
If I take the current radiator into a radiator place, can they fit a thicker core onto the end tanks?
Do they have generic radiators that have multiple mounting points I can use
If the cores buggered will the end tanks start splitting
Am I being paranoid?

I had fixed the first hole with kneed it and that stop leak stuff, but it's leaking again in another place.

Take the radiator out, take it to a radiator shop and get a profession opinion on it. If there core isn't stuffed and they can just throw a new tank on it then it may be the best option.

Failing that, get in touch with A1 Radiators (http://www.a1radiators.net.nz) and see what a new one is worth. They're usually fairly reasonably priced, are in Christchurch and list all their products with dimensions and pictures on the website so you can see if they have a listing on yours too.
