got my car dyno tuned to 240hp at 18 psi and 275 ft pounds of torque and the head gasket blew on dyno well so we thought but actually it was the block that failed.
more like did not expect that to happen it didn't get hot on the temp gauge is the thing when it blew was only at 85 degrees and there was no detonation or wasn't lean
nah the bolts were torqued all right and the block is an ae101 supercharged block did sit in some dudes shed for god no how long before i got my hands on it then it was all machined by Glendene engine reconditioners
Maybe a lot of corrosion in the water jacket, and a thinner section of the cylinder wall?
