Is an "NE" signal mentioned?
Btw sometimes the pinout is printed on the ECU PCB. Whip the cover off and look.

Rpm signal to/from what?

Chance are its just one of the igniter signals if its for the tacho

29 Engine Mounted Diagnostic Connector: IG- Tachometer Output from Igniter Output The body loom side of this pin needs to be connected to the dash tachometer.

The engine loom side of this pin connects to the diagnostic connector IG- pin mounted on the side of the engine and the igniter tachometer output pin which connects to the coil negative via the igniter.

^ Judging by the pins he's looking for I'm gonna hazard a guess and say he's looking to piggyback an aftermarket ECU onto the factory ECU so the engine speed he wants is the crank position signal which Toyota usually calls NE and there is/are also cam sync signals (G, G1, G2 etc)

Just off the top of my head. I dont know too much about jz specific engine management.

Not sure how the HKS AFR works, but as has been mentioned above you can pick up a signal from IGf. Pin 58.

I used the IGf (feedback) wire to my Innovate, for RMP signal on my 1JZ.

Not sure about the TPS. I'm thinking it would be VTO1. Pin 40.

Had a quick squiz through my stuff and have found a set of wiring diagrams for the 2JZGTE and the GE. (only the ecu)
Can send them through if you want them.

Yeah, looks like this unit would be a piece of piss to wire up to a 1JZgte.

I am thinking pin 40 isn't the right one.

How many wires to your MAP sensor?
