Installed new Front CV Shafts yesterday, and tonight chucked in a new Whiteline 20mm Rear Sway bar.

I sorted mine just today! Used the inner cable from a Camry for the length and used this as a stopper:

Had an idea of using a nut and bolt combo - a cut down the center and having the flanges of the nut crimp the cable.

Thought about changing the extinguisher bracket to the new twin strap one I got. Found out the holes are in a different place. CBF sorting it because it's a real bitch to get at the nuts and washers.
Also discovered that the battery was almost entirely flat because of the usb phone charger I had in it.

ended up back in hawkes bay so took dads car out for a small test to setup the new pedal box.. few small adjustments to make before winter series next weekend at manfeild...

also was a good chance to take new van for a good run. towed the trailer like a dream can't wait for long trips with racecar(s) in tow! suprisingly handles awesome with bilsteins all round.. need to get LSD serviced as it picks up an inside wheel too easily when thrashing it.. also needs intercooler/more boost...good fun on the gravel though!!

Just be wary if that tow vehicle actually is rated to tow a trailer that size, potential to kiss insurance goodbye when you need it most.

Finish making up braided line for fuel system, started installing them, then sheared a m10 to -6 adapter in half.. half is loctited into the fuel rail, the other half is stuck in the end of a -6 fitting. I'm guessing tomorrow may involve some swearing and cursing. Guess there wasn't enough wall thickness to drill it out for more flow after all. Time to get one made in steel I guess.

Figured out why I thought I had worn syncros in the MR2. The bushes on the gear linkages on the gearbox are worn so the cables were loose. Wrapped the pins on the gearbox selector forks with insulation tape as a temp fix. Worked great, much more positive gear change and I no longer struggle to select 1 through 3. Especially 3rd to 2nd at speeds around 60-70kph.

Finally got around to jump starting THE STARVIA with its flat battery. Cheap jump leads are CHEAP, with their clamps made from super thin copper! I should just make my own with welding cable and earth clamps... I had to leave it hooked up for about 10 minutes with the corolla running before I could even turn the engine over!!!
Went for a drive around the block to put some charge in the battery, but I got lost somehow and ended up in Martinborough :roll:

I may have exceeded the speed limit just a couple of times, by lose-my-licence number of km. :oops:

The downside to a fast car that looks slow: Vans and 4X4s pull out in front of me at over taking lanes, then they use THE WHOLE passing lane to pass one(or less) cars

Sakte board wheel bearings fit in the gearbox end of the shift cable.

i dont think this phenomenon is limited to fast cars that look slow. i imagine on lamborghini forums they complain that people pull out in front of them too. its just a combination of being a bit selfish and alot oblivious.

How bout the guys that tailgate you in the fast lane you do the right thing pull into the slow lane drop your speed to 95 they shoot by at 110 or whatever pull back into the slow lane and slow back down to 90 and your backed up behind them lol it happened to me on the weekend I'm like what hahahaha.

I'm not sure what the price of OEM replacements are, but I found the skateboard bearing trick made the shifting quality much worse- There isn't enough lateral movement in them to handle any slight variations in the shifter cable alignment (i.e. the OEM ones have rubber inserts to account for this)

Still, if yours are totally shagged it could make it better.
