NZKW surge tanks

Postby Boost_4_Life » Fri Oct 04, 2013 1:05 pm

Has anyone used these? I was looking at one of their kits, two pump + surge tank & fittings etc. Want to replace my setup cos it weeps and was built by a retard. Just not sure on their quality, I see they can supply bosch 044 pumps tho. Pump not overkill for a bog stock 4a?

044 over kill and far too noisy.

979 is prob a good choice.

If the welding on the tanks is anything like the welding on their seat bases, I would steer clear, and just get a local fabricator to make one for you.

Hmm Good point I have seen their seats...

Ok So I might go with a walbro external pump cos my internal one has been pretty good. Anyway whats a good lift pump to use thats readily available? Mine is getting a bit tired.

Why dont you just put an intank walbro in for the lift pump, and the inline walbro for the other? That is a great system, and will provide plenty of fuel.

because its a bit more complicated than that for the rallycar, nothing is standard  the swirl pot i have uses an internal walbro. but i want to asshole the whole surge tank, cos its just a shit homemade design from the previous owner with a lid that always leaks.
