Banjo fitting

Anyone know where to get a 12x1.25 banjo bolt with a pipe thread or barb fitting out the top of it locally.

Thanks, but hydraulic fittings are not 12x1.25. I think I may end up having to make something.

Really..I would of thought they could supply or at least source? Yeah wouldnt be hard to make something, braze a barb on to suit.

I'd try a Diesel and Turbo place - they'll have something automotive specific that'd do it

You'd be surprised, hydraulink have a huge range in their catalogues, Ive bought plenty of metric banjos from them,

Last couple ive needed ive brazed a boss to the banjo, have also had a couple where the head was thick enough to be able to drill and tap to 1/8bsp

Hydraulink only had normal banjo bolts in 12x1.5 aswell. Should be all sorted now, bought some barbs and should have a bolt somewhere at home.

Brazing can be good for thousands of PSI, soldering can easily handle a fuel pump unless it's a poor mechanical joint and a poor solder joint.

Your not wrong.

I remember back in my pre-trade tech days in welding class, one of the tests was to braze 10mm mild steel plate, veed butt joint which was then put in a press. If you got it right the plate would bend 90 degrees with no affect to the joint.

Pretty impressive stuff.
