Could you please do before and after temp readings?

Want to know if the spending of so many $$$ is beneficial?

And if it makes any difference at all

From all the info I have read, even using a normal paint (provided its not too thick) makes very little difference to IATS(circa 2 or 3 degress), but doing before/after temps will be difficult, given it will be painted before being installed, but if I end up painting/powder coating the intercooler, instead of Boron Nitride, the purpose wont be for thermal loss, but just to avoid having the car having a shiny grill behind the bumper.

There is quite a good amount of info on the TSD page where they data logged radiator, intercooler, gearbox temps after using Boron Nitride on a car that races in the GTR class in NZ, with some good results, but at $250 per 300ml can, I dont think I will be going down that path anymore lol

Mr Ree wrote:I went around 5 or 6 stores yesterday, seeing if anyone carried proper radiator paint, but the only stuff available where I went was typical heat paint for bbqs et al. The VHT stuff I saw was intended for headers/blocks etc, but they might have something suitable that the stores dont carry so Ill try union hardware tomorrow

I might just pony up and buy a can of boron nitride if I can get it in black :)

Check out the vht site and see if there is one that looks useful. I can help you out with getting it as not many stores will carry the range
