Bang for buck, you'd be better off selling your car and putting the extra funds towards a newer faster car IMO. You'll probably spend the same money either way. Which I think is because they have already stretched what power they could from the motor at the factory. So to get good gains, you have to get pretty serious. Of course cams, ECU, exhaust, intake will have gains. But by the time you've done that properly (including an engine rebuild), you're halfway to a better car $$$ wise.

I mean I'm not looking for anything too serious, what are some suggestions for new vehicles?

I've only really looked at getting an Altezza, mainly because there's more room in the vehicle. Only bad part is there's a shitload of them swimming around Christchurch.

Got a budget? Altezza won't be any quicker I don't imagine. I guess it comes down to what you want from a car. 2/4 door preferred? I'm not saying don't mod the car, just that unless you splash out, any improvements will be minimal. Something like this? viewtopic.php?t=91327

My budget would be around 10k absolute maximum, and that would be in a few months haha.

I did have a look at the Runx, Its just not a personal preference in the way of looks :P Although some of the body kits for them look enticing.

lol, far too many of these around man. They just look too ordinary, kinda like the evo/altezza/skyline. After something unique...

Did you see the people saying a Type R, you didn't say anything so I am not sure if that means you don't like them?

Honestly, they're probably a bit small inside (one of the reasons I want to replace the levin too)

H22B in the older Euro's (theres also a F20B version).

Decent power can be made out of the H22A's. Snoozin's old Euro R was about 150fwkw with bolt ons IIRC
