Brake conversion help

Postby finder066 » Mon Dec 30, 2013 1:32 pm

Hi guys

I have a starlet glanza s which has drum brakes in the rear and i would like to swap in disc brakes from a glanza, obviously ill need the discs but will i need the brake booster and is there anything different about the rear suspension setup including the axle in a glanza v that would make this difficult?

Thanks

You'll also want the proportioning valve off the disc brake car.

Are the Glanza V front discs and calipers the same as the S?

You'll need to swap the whole rear axle to swap to discs. You will need handbrake cables, prop valve and master cylinder, booster should be the same. Also remember to get hoses for the rear as they'll be different too.

Why?
