:o didn't click that that car was yours. Yeah the track sessions could have been run better, they did the right thing at the start to line cars up in their experience levels but then everyone got mixed up and sent out together.

New set up? I never do anything different if I go to the drags, mate. I just ran my car in its usual 'track spec' non compliant suspension but with some Nitto NT555R drag radials that a generous person let me use. They were brand new, and have been sitting around for a while, so offered no better grip yesterday than my street tyres. Im not a fan of burnouts, especially doing them in the wheel hop prone Supra, but decided to give them a half decent one this morning for about 5 or 6 seconds, and managed to beat my PB by 4 tenths and run 111mph so that was an improvement too.

It was a 13.135 @111.19mph/179kph

There is definitely a high 12 in there without changing anything except the gasket between the seat and steering wheel :)

I would like to give it another go with some proper bias ply tyres one day, but as all my money goes towards trying to make it faster around a track, I cant see that happening anytime soon. Might try and borrow some one day just to tick off that box though ;)

Ah, sorry Scott, Im with you now.

I could almost guarantee that the new set up will have reduced my torque slightly, but dont think much has changed to be honest. The next time there is a dyno day, I will go and confirm what all the changes have done to the torque and power curves. But as Im not running anymore boost, I cant see them power curve being much higher apart from marginally at the top end.

Rollcage is no use in a daily

It was just well overdue for a tidy up, and this wasn't much more work than patching everything.

Save the monkey bars for the Supra once it has. blower bolted to the side of the head

Cursed and sweared at the Corolla tonight. Threw in a set of borrowed injectors to see if they were the cause of a dodgey rich idle and now it wont even idle. Had fun having it stall four times on a short test drive.

Built into the rail, going to check fuel pump and ECU first. Then will try swapping the FPR over. Strange that the only change was injectors and now it wont idle at all.

Got my front spats in the mail yesterday and decided to put them on straight away. Unlike my brothers celica which had double sided tape to hold them on, these required cutting holes in the bumper.
Luckily on the inside of the bumper were little markings on where to make the cut. While the bumper was off I also painted the center grill bits black as they were just body colour
