Had one one my 3sgte lotus 7. Worked OK, but the software was very flakey. That was 2 years ago, hopefully they have improved it. It used to be really hard to load a new map into it, sometimes it would load, other times it would be blank.
The USB interface was crap.
Once it was tuned, as long as you didn't fiddle with it, it was good.

I have one in the my 2jzge turbo. Are you installing it yourself? Is the car an auto?

USB connection is slow to update tables.
Install is easy, a mate helped me do it.
Support was really good.
Easy to use, but is limited functionality

Because it is a piggy back you can use it with an auto. Most full after markets are a problem with an auto.

What do you want to control with it?

Cheers

Not really after massive power as i have had the turbo rebuilt with CT26 core (Steve Murch) so i think this will be a great option for bang for buck as it would be a problem with full stand alone ecu with auto. :D :D

ST Hitec did the tuning, but only up to about 4KPM as the auto let get around then (still havent got it retuned, decided to redo injectors...etc). They have tuned a few MAPECUs, but don't do it alot. If you have a laptop I would get the tuning software loaded on that and make sure you can connect etc, as USB driver can be and issue and you dont want to waste there time.

Unless there is a plug in aftermatket made for you cars ECU like a F-Con V Pro. Then a MAPECU might be as good as it gets for running an auto.

If you like I could pop over sometime and show you my car running with the MAPECU3.

Cheers
