Where is this located?

Looking for the fuel pump resistor mentioned in this diagram.

Im currently running my fuel pump continuously by jumping the diagnostic plug fuel pump test pin, and have narrowed the actual problem down to the wiring between the EFI circuit opening relay and fuel pump itself.

What's that diagram from? AW11s don't have a high/low fuel pump voltage system like the one shown in that image, so there is no fuel pump resistor (or fuel pump relay). As far as I know, such systems are mostly found on turbo cars, e.g. mr2 turbos and celica gtfours.

Are you sure that's not a diagram for a 3SGTE?

I had the same problem when I first fitted the 20v to my AW although can't remember how we sorted it as that was about 11 years ago now..... I'll have a closer look at the wiring tomorrow and see what I can see. It wasn't a difficult fix - just a wire not in the right place.

There should be five terminals on your circuit opening relay - I'm only using four of them. Looking at male end of the plug, with the clip and three terminals along the bottom, I'm using bottom middle, two on the right and one on top left.

Wire colours are:
top left - brown
top right - green with a red trace
bottom right - blue with red bands/check marks - two wires out of the plug but only one used
bottom middle - black with red bands/check marks

The green with red trace comes out of the loom beside the ECU and I think is from the AFM - that's what my AW wiring diagram shows. Blue with red bands is 12v to the fuel pump but only once the AFM flap is open so if you stall etc the fuel pump stops.

I think it was the green that we didn't have connected originally and I was doing the same thing as you.
