Ceramax Brake pads

Ceramax QS brake pads.. anybody use them, do they work, or are they rubbish?

Just asking because I threw a set in the Honda along with new rotors on the recommendation of the guy at the brake shop and i'm less than impressed so far, but I'm wondering if I pushed them a bit hard a bit early. Trying to decide whether to just go to Honda and grab a set of OEM pads, or whether i should give them a week to settle in and a good deglaze will bring them right.
