Has anyone come across an AWD transmission that makes a coarse vibration in reverse when cold? My wifes does it, checked the transfer case fluid level and appears over full. Butdoes this need to be checked running? I Never have come across this problem in all my years of mechanicing or just working on cars

My terrano does when it's cold. New fluid and filter helped a bit but not completely. I've read using genuine fluids can also be key to success.
