I'd imagine it'd be a similar exercise to converting the c52 out of a front drive corolla into an aw11. From what i remember c56 and c52 linkages look the same. May need to mod ae101 axles or run the inner cv's off one

To do this you will need to cut the c56 To allow the shift linkages to operate on the aw11, easily done with a disc grinder with thin blade & aslong as you know where to cut and are good with the grinder you'll be sweet, you can use the same axles from the aw11 if it was equipped with a c52 standard. Only need to change axles if you are changing from auto or from e series box(supercharged aw11) as these box's run different axles.
Hope this helps
