If i were you i'd give a good box new synchros and bearings, run syntrax or redline MTL and give it bi-tron gear treatment. The oil will end up having massive shock resistance, but the bi-tron wont interfere with the synchros or lsd clutches, and will look after the bearings like nothing else. Just my 2c
edit, also your clutch using a sprung hub?
thats not the problem i'm having with my gearbox.syncros are mint, bearings are mint. The shock proof stuff is the only thing saving it. Shifting is fine and easy, if i ran sytrax my problem will just be worse. I dont think you understand whats going on with my box. The oil is definatly not slippery as you think my TRD diff tries to lock when i turn sharp, If i add in friction modifiers which makes it slipprier than the diff wont do this but will take a bit longer until it locks.
my clutch is a twin plate quartermaster so no sprung hub
