Blacktop waterpump - backing plate hose size...

Hi guys,

I'm just about finished a freshen up of the daily driver (just did the clutch, about to do the timing belt/tensioner/waterpump).
I've got all the parts and am ready to go, but couldn't find the size of the short length of hose off the water pump backing plate (between the plate and the block I think).

It's a BZTouring Corolla, with a 20V blacktop.

Does anyone know off the top of their head, as I'll most likely be swapping it over at night when everything is closed... would be nice to avoid a day without it running

It is ~$15 genuine from Mark (from memory).
I didn't bother with cutting random hose for that price.

I think it was 31mm ID pipe. I used 32mm silicone hose.
