97 Corolla OBD2 port location NZ Car

Post by Rigpig »

Right,

I've searched the internet, watched the YouTube vids and had a really good look where it's supposed to be but I can't find it!

Does anyone know exactly where it is from personal experience because I'm beginning to think I'm going crazy!

Thanks

It may not have one.

If it has the square diagnostic plug under the bonnett,
it probably wont have the ODB2 plug.

You can stop looking because it doesn't exist on that model ;). OBD-I only. All you need is a paperclip to check any codes by bridging the TE1 and E1 ports of the diagnosis box in the engine bay.

Nope, all of them didn't have them. OBD-II didn't become available until the NZE120 Corollas (RunX, Fielder etc).
