Unknown AW11 sensor

Anyone know what this sensor is thats found sitting on the same bracket as the MAP sensor in AW11's? The lower one, in this pic. Looks like an O2 sensor, but clearly isnt.

Could it be the engine bay temp sensor for the side fan? Mine has been gone for years so I can't check on mine. Or maybe an air temp sensor for the ECU?

Let me guess, car is NZ new (or AU new)?

This is a dummy "O2" sensor, I believe it is there to adjust the mixture somewhat (it should be a potentiometer that you can adjust with a screw driver).

That looks to be it. It's a variable resistor for the not JDM/USDM cars according to Toyota.
